Thus, the design of every platform should start with the design of the core interaction that it enables between producers and consumers. The core interaction is the most important form of activity that takes place on platform \u2013 the exchange of value that attracts most users (\u2026). The fundamental purpose of the platform is to facilitate that core interaction. (\u2026) The platform revolution is indeed transforming our world in a host of significant and exciting ways. But there\u2019s one thing that platform revolution will not change \u2013 namely the ultimate goal that technology, business,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and the entire economic system need to serve.
