LIA PIANO

Born and raised in a architect and builder’s family, in 2004 I was one of Renzo Piano Foundation creators, and today I’m its Director.

With the Foundation I organized scholarships, workshops, venues, prizes and publications, promoting the idea (and the practice) of Architecture as art of constructing. I organized  a monographic series (8 volumes at the moment) publication, dedicated to Renzo Piano’s iconic buildings. I strongly believe in interdisciplinary and contamination: today I devote myself  to architecture as place and space where different disciplines can meet. Evolution passes also through the places that builds and inhabits.
